What's up guys,
If you want to reset your iPhone when you forgot your passcode, people would suggest you connect it to iTunes. What if you don’t have a computer handy? Thank God, that’s not a problem if your device is running iOS 15.2 or later, you have signed it in with your Apple ID, and the phone is connected to a network, Then you can unlock it on the lock screen without iTunes. All you have to do is keep entering the passcode until you see the Erase iPhone option in the bottom right of the screen. Tap on it.
Go ahead and sign out of your Apple ID. Here we go. As you can see, without using a computer, we’ve reset this iPhone. Looks pretty awesome and effective, right? But you probably don’t always have it connected to a network and use an Apple ID to finding my enabled. In that case,, you won’t see the Erase iPhone button.
The button, itself could stop responding to your touch from time to time. Then you might consider unlocking your phone with 4uKey iPhone Passcode Unlocker. This being said, let’s open it on a computer. Attach the phone, Click start, then click Next. We’ll get a recovery mode guide for all devices.
Navigate to your phone model, and follow the steps here to enter recovery mode, For iPhone 8 or later, press and quickly release the volume up and down button successively, then press and hold the side button until the recovery mode screen shows up.4uKey will prepare the firmware, all we have to do is click on the button. And then, we can start removing. OK, now it says screen lock remove successfully.
We can see the startup screen once the phone boots up. While setting it up, you can choose to restore from a backup. And restore all your data back from the one you created previously. Once the process is done, your apps should be from iCloud, and you can find your other files like photos and videos are back too. Another way to reset your iPhone is using Find My, which is a wireless option.
You can do it on iCloud.com, or use the app version on an iPhone or iPad. Once signed in with your Apple ID, you can go to Find iPhone, Select your phone from the list of all devices. And then go ahead to erase it. You’ll need to enter your Apple ID password and customize a few settings. Then the erase should begin as soon as the phone is connected to a network.
When it’s done, you’ll get to the startup screen. In the last part here, I’d like to summarize the process of restoring an iPhone using iTunes. You’ll need a computer and put the phone in recovery mode. Then continue with the restore option. After the firmware, iTunes will start the restore.
The methodology also bores you from the very beginning. So that’s it. Thanks for watching. If you think this post is helpful, don’t forget to share it with your friends. See you next time.
